Pukas / Gran Amigo
Our riders, clients and own staff were asking for a step up version of the “Pukas Amigo”, Pukas’ biggest success in 2013, to paddle out in bigger conditions. We took the request to Peter Daniels and he changed the outline. Peter made it sharper and narrowed the tail for a rounder finish instead of a wide squash.
The Pukas Gran Amigo gives more drive and betters transition from rail to rail as it’s shaped for demanding conditions. It’s the greatest possible addition to a quiver that begs for a new board. The rocker (low entry and continious) and bottom (single to flat), are the same as his little brother “Pukas Amigo”; smooth and simple. The concept of the “Pukas Gran Amigo” is as easy to understand as it is your “Pukas Amigo”.

Peter Daniels / Great shaper / Better surfer?
You might not know, but Peter was rocking the cover of Surfer Magazine long ago. Mastering surfing has been key when thinking of surfboards. Want to know a bit more about Peter Daniels?
A team’s favorite
The Pukas Amigo is quietly making it all the way to our team’s quiver. It is soon becoming a must when waves are shit. Natxo Gonzalez took it to Australia while training with the young guns and it quickly became his weapon of choice most of the days. Check it out here.
