This young moroccan born in 1993 has double nationality (Moroccan and Dutch). His family moved to Saint Jean de Luz, France, a place he now calls home. Eventhough Ramzi will be considered a Junior until he turns 21, his body and surfing power have multiply recently.
He won the European King of The Groms and has been among the usual suspects in every World Junior contest held. He loves surfing on Johnny Cabianca’s shapes. Even Mikel Agotes’s shapes made him enjoy a lot his surfing.
His win at the 2012 Zarautz Pro, an ASP 6 Prime event, has been his major win so far, but Ramzi has run the World Junior Champs too, setting himself as one legit WT contender. His focus on

Since age 8
Ramzi Boukhiam has been part of Pukas since he was 8. Little did we know he would improve so fast and so much. Every win and every loss is felt like it’s us in the water. With the support of his family and friends, Ramzi is now a junior to keep an eye on. He has already won major events.

Been the 2012 ASP European Junior Champ, having won an ASP 6Star event in Zarautz and been part of the World Junior Champ event seems not to be enough. He wants to be in the biggest league, and he is training for it. Keep in eye on him, his backside attack and the ground he covers on every wave.
